Algerian top exports in 2022:

Oil and gas make up 90% of Algeria's exports. The country's second largest export is fertilizers, worth $2.3 billion in 2022 and dependent on the fossil fuel industry.

Algeria's oil and gas industry is also poised for expansion, with Western energy country announcing plans for further investment in the nation's energy trade infrastructure. The development is expected to bolster Algeria's standing as a top global exporter and maintain a substantial trade surplus.⁽¹⁾

According to 2022 statistics, the top destination for Algerian exports is the EU countries (particularly Italy, France and Spain) which receive nearly 70% of Algerian exports United States and South Korea come on the second rank with 5% share each , followed by Arab states with only (1%) share .

Algerian exports to Arab countries in 2021 :

Algerian exports to Arab countries are noticeably dominated by neighboring countries (Tunisia and Morocco). Approximately 80% of Algerian exports to the region are received by these two countries.
