Chart showing the Egyptian Foreign trade (2017-2021) Egyptian exports and imports have noticeably increased in 2021, with change of 52% and 22% respectively. Worth mentioning, the negative trade balance over the years of study, which was decreased in 2021. The increase in value of Egyptian exports in 2021 was mainly due to the increase in Mineral Fuels exports that could be attributed to large investments directed to that sector as well as new discoveries .
