Potential Exports This section shows a more detailed focus on the UAE exports and the nature of importing groups and countries. UAE top exports to the world in 2021: The UAE is the 17th largest export economy in the world. Pursuant to the governemnt policy on export diversification with decersaing its reliance on oil and gas sectors, the data show that UAE exports are becoming more diversified in recent years, with mineral Fuel form only 15.6 % of the total exports. Other significant exoprts are precious metals and stones especially gold, machinery, plastics , and aluminum. The Asian countries are the UAE's primary export destination, receiving over half of all UAE exports to the world. Aluminum, copper, iron and steel, and other metals are the most important items shipped to Asian countries. Arab countries, particularly Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and Oman, are also important export markets for the UAE. Only about 3% of UAE overall exports are received by EU countries as a whole; similar numbers are also obtained by Hong Kong and China. UAE Arabic exports destinations (values and shares) in 2021: According to data, Saudi Arabia and Iraq are the top Arab export destinations for the UAE (both receive about 50 percent of the UAE exports to the region). Oman and Kuwait are ranked third and fourth, respectively. The four countries mentioned above import 70% of total UAE exports to Arab countries.
